Charlotte, NC; November 30, 2012 — DecisionPoint, a leader in M&A advisory services for middle-market technology companies, announced today that its client, EnerGov Solutions (“EnerGov”), a leading provider of enterprise permitting, land management, licensing and regulatory software solutions to government agencies, has been acquired by publicly traded Tyler Technologies (“Tyler”), a leading provider of end-to-end information management solutions and services for local governments.

As a result of the transaction, Tyler broadens its portfolio of citizen services software solutions by complementing its Munis(r)and Incode(r) product suites with industry-leading land use and community development solutions. EnerGov was selected in 2009 as the Esri(r) Worldwide Partner of the Year and received the 2012 Esri Mobile App of the Year Award. EnerGov has clients in 31 states.

“We are pleased to add EnerGov’s products to Tyler’s solutions as EnerGov is competitive in the marketplace and an ideal addition to Tyler’s portfolio,” said Brett Cate, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “EnerGov is well known for providing innovative land management solutions and we intend to continue to deliver the level of service and expertise its clients expect.”

EnerGov’s founding partners and key management will join Tyler, along with the company’s entire employee base; and, during the coming months, EnerGov’s technology and services offerings will be integrated into Tyler operations and branding.

“We enjoyed facilitating the combination of these two outstanding companies in the government software arena” said Tom Wilson, Managing Partner at DecisionPoint. “EnerGov’s sophisticated product suite and innovative solutions leveraging mobile technology for municipalities made them a very attractive target and we were excited that Tyler emerged as the best fit for the EnerGov team and their customers.”

“Tyler Technologies is a leader in public sector software solutions and EnerGov is a leader in land management solutions, so this is a great fit,” said Mark Beverly, chief executive officer and chief operating officer at EnerGov. “Tyler and EnerGov share the same level of commitment to providing innovative solutions to the public sector and we look forward to being a part of Tyler’s software offerings.”
