Charlotte, NC; June 30, 2015 — DecisionPoint, a leader in M&A advisory services for middle-market technology companies, announced today that its client, Entegreat, a leader in manufacturing systems consulting and integration, has been acquired by Ernst & Young member firms in the US, Canada and Costa Rica. The addition of Entegreat will enhance EY’s manufacturing advisory capabilities and will help EY meet the evolving needs of clients for real-time actionable analytics that improve efficiency and productivity in manufacturing, production and supply chain.

The move comes as factories across the US ramp up production and manufacturers seek new technology and professional services expertise to leverage the Internet of Things to create smarter supply chains to meet growing demand. In May, new factory orders hit a five-month high and the backlog of orders hit a six-month high, according to the Institute for Supply Management.

“The investments we make today will continue to help shape the Advisory practice of tomorrow,” said Greg Jenko, the EY Americas Advisory Lead for Digital and Emerging Technology. “By working closely with our clients, we can help create a more nimble, agile manufacturing industry and continue to live up to our purpose of building a better working world.”

Entegreat’s highly-skilled consulting team, which now joins EY, has worked with some of the leading manufacturing companies in the world – from automakers to food producers – to identify business objectives and then recommend the right technology products to meet those goals. Its holistic approach to enhancing manufacturing systems is a natural fit for EY, which is dedicated to asking better questions that lead to better answers, and, ultimately, customized services that produce long-term, positive outcomes for clients.

“This is a great strategic combination that brings highly skilled manufacturing systems resources to a worldwide leader in advisory services” said Tom Wilson, Managing Partner at DecisionPoint. “The Entegreat team is excited about being acquired by such a respected and capable organization as EY.”

As part of the transaction, Ernst & Young LLP in the US has also obtained an exclusive, perpetual license to Proficy Health Monitor, software developed by Entegreat which provides performance insight into clients’ manufacturing environments.
