Charlotte, NC; March 16, 2011 — DecisionPoint International, a leader in M&A advisory services for middle-market technology companies, announced today that its client Juma Technology (“Juma” or “Company”), an Avaya Business Partner and a business unit of the publicly traded Juma Corporation (JUMT) has been acquired by Carousel Industries (Carousel), a leader in data networking and unified communications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition by Carousel Industries enables the building of its core capabilities in convergence, IP telephony and traditional networking while expanding its customer footprint in the northeastern region. The purchase of Juma is the latest in several acquisitions made by Carousel over the last two years, as the company seeks to increase its capabilities while expanding its customer base and geographic reach.
