Chase Thompson is an Associate at DecisionPoint. Thompson plays a vital role for the DecisionPoint executive team, using financial research and business strategic analysis to help deliver insight into the technological sector. As an Associate, Thompson is responsible for discovering key drivers in the industry segments, researching and determining potential buyers for our clients, and serving as lead support during all functions of the M&A process.
Thompson graduated from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. While attending UNCW, Thompson held several leadership positions, working for two years as a Resident Assistant and helping maintain a $1.4 million university endowment fund. In addition, Thompson offers advanced financial analysis skills, sucessfully passing Level 2 of the CFA exam and has work experience as a Financial Accounting Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse. He also provides global business knowledge, working for two years in South Korea with an upper level proficiency in the Korean language.
